Tammi
The story started with Ralph Moncrieffe (Father) and Elfreda Moncrieffe (Mother) of Tamekia  Moncrieffe a prodigy. She started singing at an early age, performing in concerts and other events giving thrills to her audience with her powerful and Angelic vocals.

Her talent would see her being sought by most gospel groups in Jamaica. From singing at churches and schools she would go to the capital city to win gold medals in the festival competitions. Pairing with great harmony singers she took the North Coast by storm and quickly earned the reputation of being the best new female artiste on the Cabaret circuit.

The Jamaica Federation of Musicians agreed with this by bestowing the award of best new Artist on her in 2003. She has done background vocals for many acclaimed entertainers and is now working as a background vocalist for Etana The Strong One, with whom she has been touring. She is now working on her first album with her new single walkaway. Tammi T is definitely someone to look out for in the near feature as she is a talented artist, armed with potential, experience and an aim to make it on the international scene.

Elijah Dixon
Elijah Dixon was born in Brooklyn, New York, the 6th of 9 children. Because of his mother's love of music, and to keep her clan in check, she gave them instruments, and turned her clan into a band. Elijah would listen to his mother sing while they played, and decided at an early age that he too wanted to sing. He grew up listening to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, the Chilites, Bob Marley and many more. At the tender age of 10, his family moved to Jamaica, where he continued his upbringing in a small district in the hills of St. Ann.

Elijah began singing at hotels, outings, weddings, wherever he could, and in his teenage years got together with some friends, a group of young men in search of the same dream, and formed a group Access. Later, along with another member of Access, he formed Two Souls. Working out of UB40's studio in Oracabessa, St. Mary they released two powerful songs, "Freedom" and "Kumbaya."

Elijah has had the honor to share the stage with the likes of such greats as Gregory Issacs, Marcia Griffins, Sanchez, Lee and Sly & Robbie, just to name a few.

Elijah will be taking the world by storm with his present singles, "We Must Go On" and "I Guess You Didn't Know."

Tammi & Klyve

Jamaica’s musical history is replete with stories of siblings combining vocal talent to attain phenomenal musical success. For vocalists Clive “Klyve” Moncrieffe and his sister Tamekia “Tammi” Moncrieffe they are not exactly heading into unknown waters.
However the dynamic Montego Bay based duo who currently provides backup vocals for female reggae sensation “Etana” is now stepping up their game. In addition to performing on the hotel circuit as Tammi & Klyve they are also quite busy in the recording studio churning out the songs they hope will become hits “we are working with a talented group of young people call “notice productions” Tammi told the gleaner” we have  already released a few songs and we are working on others. Our latest album “nocturnal girl” was released on the Keith Hines production label and is already getting rave reviews”.
“We are quite confident about what we are doing” noted Tammi “I know we have the ability and it’s just a matter of putting in the work to match our talent”

Joan Dixon

One of the most exciting acts to have happened to the cabaret scene since the nineties is Joan Dixon, dubbed the “Tina Turner of Jamaica”.

Joan was born in Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland.  After completing her education at Mannings School, she went from working with the Westmoreland Cultural office into banking, where she excelled for a number of years, a few more years were spent with the Sandals group.  During this period, she took time out to improve her vocal talent at the Clarice Crawford School of Music.

Like most of our great singers, Joan started singing on the church choir, from there she decided to venture out unto the bigger stages.  Her big break came when she won the Miss Westmoreland title and second runner up in the finals of the Prestigious Miss Jamaica Festival Queen Contest. It was during that period that her talent was seen by a national audience.  This gave her the added edge to grace the stage with some of the big names in the Jamaica music industry like Marcia Griffiths, Judy Mowatt, Richie Stephens, Ken Booth, Leroy Sibbles, Beres hammond, Fab Five etc. and also international names like Micheal Bolton, Diana King, Maxi Priest and also to entertain local and international audiences on the North Coast.

She has done international shows in USA, Canada and Antigua. A recording artiste and and an avid fitness pro, she also has to her credit a successful music video, a merit award from a recognized music contest.

There is more to be said of this wonderful personality, which can be heard in future interviews, recordings and performances. Relax and enjoy this exciting personality and a sound which is going to be around for a long time, with God’s blessings.
